Free CPR/EMT training is available to all new members.*
All new members must be enrolled in an EMT course within one year of joining.
Members serve one duty night (11pm to 5am) a week, on which they are required to respond to all calls but do not have to stay at the building.
Members also attend one business and one drill meeting a month (held on the first and third Tuesdays of every month), along with any scheduled events or other training.
Juniors ages 16 and 17 are encouraged to join our Cadet Program; parental approval is required.
Note: Members must live in or within a reasonable distance from the Borough of Matawan, since our Squad operates on a pager response system.
